Welcome, and thank you for stopping by.

My first book, March Farm: Season by Season on a Connecticut Family Farm, was released in 2013. Connecticut Magazine’s review called it a “wonderful book.”

March Farm Book

I’m currently seeking representation for my young adult novel. I was pleased to have my essay “For the Love of Linen” which appeared in the debut edition of the Connecticut Literary Anthology 2020 nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

I am a writer whose anchor lies in my spiritual life. I believe the most powerful forces in our lives are the invisible ones. I seek to connect to the invisible thread linking us to the mysterious force that animates our universe.

“. . . what is essential is invisible to the naked eye.”

Antoine de Saint-Exupery

I spent seven years teaching at Arts Escape in Southbury until it closed in August 2023. I am now teaching classes at different venues in the Litchfield Country area. I also teach private piano lessons in my beautiful studio on our property. In my spare time (ha!) I bake pies (see Life with Pie), practice Kundalini yoga, play the cello, and adore the moon.
